In short

  • The AI OFM toolchain covers five jobs: generation, consistency, messaging, payout and compliance.
  • Hosted models (Higgsfield, WaveSpeed) give you a working result faster than a training rig. The guides on this site weight them higher for that reason.
  • On 5 October 2026 an image cost $0.005 to $0.14 pay-as-you-go. A 5-second video clip listed at $0.20 to $1.80, and a LoRA training run started at $1.
  • The consistency tool matters more than the generation tool. Making one pretty image is not the hard part.
  • For compliance you use a six-question checklist here. You do not have to buy software.

A working AI OFMAI OFM AI OFM means you build a virtual character with AI, grow an audience for her on social media, and earn money from that audience on a platform that allows AI creators. Read the full explanation operation needs tools for five jobs: generation, consistency, messaging, payout and compliance. Most lists only cover the first one. But generation does not decide whether the business works. Where the hours go shows that once an account has an audience, generation takes the smallest part of your week.

If the term is new to you, read what AI OFM is first. This page is not a ranked list of software. It sorts the tools by the job each one does and links to the deeper page wherever there is one.

Generation: making the images and video

The goal is a character you can use again and again. One good image is not enough. AI video models for personas and the character consistency guide give more weight to hosted models (Higgsfield and WaveSpeed) than to a training rig you build from scratch. Hosted models give you a usable result in one evening. A training rig takes a weekend. To run hosted video models in batches from a coding agent, Seedance with Claude Code or Codex shows one skill for both agents and a spending cap.

The other route is a LoRALoRA A LoRA is a small file trained on images of one subject. It teaches a general image model to reproduce that specific face or style. Open the glossary you train yourself. The same guide covers it. You can decide on that later. You do not need it to get started.

The costs are listed below, with the date they were read. The full list per model is on what generation costs. It is re-checked on a schedule.

Consistency: keeping one face across hundreds of renders

This job decides whether you can use the character at all. It is a separate tool decision from generation. Character consistency is the full guide: training set size, epochs and the driftDrift Drift is the slow change in a character’s face over time, until images made weeks apart no longer look like the same person. Open the glossary check. It matters more than which generator made your first good image. If you cannot repeat a face, you do not have a character yet.

Messaging: where most of the income comes from

FanvueFanvue Fanvue is a subscription content platform that officially allows AI creators and labels them as AI. Open the glossary reports that most new-creator income comes from paid messages, not from the feed. The numbers are in how money is made on Fanvue. The tool question is: what do you automate in those conversations, and what do you keep human?

Fanvue AI chatbot rules answers it. It covers what the platform documents and what it does not ask for. It also shows where a legal labelling question comes up if you build your own bot and do not use the platform’s.

Payout: getting the money out

There are two separate questions here, and each has its own page. Fanvue payout terms covers the schedule, the threshold and the hold period. Fanvue payout methods covers which route moves the money once it is available: bank transfer, an eWallet or crypto.

You do not install either of them. Read both sets of terms before your first payout is due. Both assume a creator account on Fanvue (affiliate link, opens in a new tab). That is where the identity check in Fanvue verification and KYC happens.

Compliance: a free checklist instead of software

Most “tools” lists skip this job completely. It is also the job that can cost you real money if you skip it. The EU AI Act self-check is a free tool with six questions. It tells you which labelling rules apply to your setup and what to check in your files. EU compliance for AI personas is the ten-stage guide behind it. If you are outside the EU, do I have to disclose AI content in the US covers the narrower US answer.

What the sources do not say

Ranking these models on published numbers

The obvious way to make this page more useful would be a ranked list: best generation tool, second best, and so on. That was tried for the generation section, and it does not hold up. There is no published data on character fidelity or identity retention across vendors. That is the one property that decides whether a face survives a generation. Every “best tool” ranking in this niche is an opinion, even when it looks like a test result. A ranking on this page would be the same.

What can be ranked is price and mode. What generation costs does that and leaves out a quality score that nobody can back up.

What each job costs on 5 October 2026

Prices in this field change, so every figure here has the day it was read. The range matters more than any single number. The cheapest option often costs a tenth of the most expensive one, and the cheap end is where you test and try again. The same model can also cost twice as much on one host as on another, as WaveSpeed vs fal vs Replicate shows.

WaveSpeed uses a pay-per-use model with no monthly fees or commitments, and eligible new accounts receive $1 in free credits with no credit card required. Starting prices per image run from $0.005 for Z-Image Turbo to $0.14 for Nano Banana Pro.

A 5-second image-to-video clip at default settings lists at $0.20 on MiniMax H3 (480p) and $1.80 on Seedance 2.5 (720p); MiniMax H3 with a custom LoRA lists at $0.25. On 5 October 2026 the run button showed 50% off MiniMax H3 and 10% off Seedance 2.5. The Flux Dev LoRA Trainer starts at $1 per run, and the final charge scales with the settings.

In the full plan comparison, Higgsfield’s Starter plan is €19 per month billed annually for a fixed 270 credits, stated as 135 Nano Banana Pro generations. Plus is €59 monthly, or €47 billed annually, for 1,200 credits. The plan cards show Starter at €19 a month, billed monthly, with the same 135 Nano Banana Pro generations a month.

A LoRA only works with the model it was trained for. MiniMax H3 takes a LoRA in video, but WaveSpeed has no trainer for H3, so the LoRA you trained for your images does not carry over. AI video models for personas explains what to do instead.

The tools are the cheap part. Two hundred test images that you throw away cost a dollar at the cheap end. What decides whether this works is still the hours. Where the hours go counts them.

What this list leaves out

No vendor is ranked here. A ranking would need a measure of character fidelity, and nobody publishes one. Prices only appear with the date they were read. The full, re-checked list is on what generation costs.

There is also no “which agency should I hire” section. That is a question about how you set up the business, not about tools. AI OFM agency vs solo covers it.

The five jobs above depend on each other in a fixed order. Getting started with AI personas walks you through it. Once the workflow runs, running an AI persona operation shows which parts you can automate safely.

Questions people ask

What tools do I need to run an AI OFM persona?

You need tools for five jobs. You do not need a long list. A generation tool makes images and video. A consistency method keeps one face across hundreds of renders. A messaging tool handles the conversations your income depends on. Then you need a payout route and a way to check which AI label rules apply. For each job there are only a few real options.

Is ComfyUI the tool to learn first?

Not necessarily. The guide on this site gives more weight to hosted models (Higgsfield and WaveSpeed). With them you get a usable result in one evening. A training rig takes a weekend. You can decide on a training rig later. You do not need one to get started.

What do the tools cost?

The tools cost less than people expect. The time costs more. On 5 October 2026, pay-as-you-go images on WaveSpeed cost $0.005 to $0.14 each. A 5-second video clip listed at $0.20 on MiniMax H3 and $1.80 on Seedance 2.5. Training a LoRA started at $1. Higgsfield's subscription started at €19 a month. Fanvue keeps 20% of what fans pay. The compliance check on this site is free.

Do I need a separate tool for compliance?

No. A checklist is enough. You do not need a subscription. The EU AI Act self-check on this site asks six questions and tells you which labelling rules apply to your setup and what to check in your files. It is free.
